Who We are
We are a proud and successful cricket club that has operated for 20 years, run by volunteers and providing sporting opportunities for local youth and open age cricket lovers in the area – both male and female.
In the upcoming 2019/20 season, we aim to field teams in the following categories:
5 x Senior Men’s teams
1 x Senior Ladies Team
1 x Under 18 Boys team
2 x Under 16 boys teams
2 x Under 14 boys teams
1 x Under 13 girls team
3 x Under 12 boys teams
2 x Under 10s boys teams
Woolworths Blast (mixed boys & girls ages 5 to 8)
Our Story so far…..
We have a decorated history and an exciting future. With numbers growing in our junior ranks, the club has incredible depth. The club relies on volunteers and sponsorships to operate and our aim is to build a relationship with our potential sponsors to give them maximum exposure and commercial benefit in the local community.
Maximising our sponsor’s ability to extract real value via their association with Sydenham Hillside Cricket Club is our primary sponsorship goal. That’s why our sponsorship proposals and packages are structured the way they are!
Sponsors may also receive extensive signage at our home ground and/or in the club social rooms, the opportunity to distribute business information to club members, and priority access to the best tickets for club social functions.
Our transition to turf cricket, strong relationship with the Hillside Football Club and installation of an electronic scoreboard will further enhance potential exposure to our local community.
As a modern club we also have a strong online presence, including a very active Facebook group, plus a regular newsletter and website updates.
The club is looking forward to the 2019/20 season and the challenges it brings.
